First Day

Singgahasana Lodge the place we stayed in

Had dinner at some coffeeshop across the road

Kuching's signature noodle dish. Variation of "dry tossed" noodles but tastes distinctively different from wanton mee - Kolo Mee (the one on the right)

2nd Day

Took a bus to Bako national park


We had to take a boat to get there





We had a drink while waiting for the bus back

Meanwhile a truck drove past selling watermelons and so we decided to buy some, get the aunty at the shop to help us cut the watermelon and stand by the drain eating and spitting seeds into the drain, aiming at mudfishes.

3rd Day

Cat museum

The longest walk we had to take from the bus stop to the cat museum 

So we decided to take the short cut and climb down when going up and down

We were too tired to walk down all the way, so we decided to see if we could hitch a ride from someone and we did.

I've reached Kuching, staying at the Singgahsana Lodge
The place is nice and there is free wireless which is the best thing ever

Kuching

I'm here sitting at Senai airport waiting for my flight to Kuching.
Thank God for Free wireless even at Malaysia.
My flight is only at 6pm and I am already here at Senai Airport at 3pm.
I'm bored to my wits and that is why i am here blogging, Jann and Laura are reading, my mum is looking for the Tandas.
So exciting. I'm back at Malaysia meeting my good friend TANDAS again.
Oh wells lets see if I have free wireless in Kuching then i'll blog again

We wanted to go watch Olivia Ong at the esplanade after Claire's B'day dinner.
But by the time we got there, all we could see was her hand, her mic and her hair.

Couldn't take it anymore and went to search for the title of the song

Genting

Genting was fun
7 hour bus ride
Reaching Genting at 4am
Having to wait 8 hours before we can check in
Roaming around till 12pm
Having buffet breakfast and trying hard not to fall asleep
Although someone did

Playing tempo chinese games at coffee bean
Although most of us can't speak chinese or keep in time
Coming out with new chinese words
Using english to play a chinese game
Taking the cable car
Seeing "angsanas"
Finding out how Terence actually works there Finally able to check in and take a nap
Playing indian poker and having tight bladders
Playing murderer without really knowing how to play
Having Hong Kong and Britian wannabe judges

Waking up and having Dim Sum for breakfast
Going to the theme park



Waiting for the rain to stop and the fog to clear

Taking EXCITING and STUPID rides
Including the scariest and breath taking ride which took
Taking 8 hours to decide wheather to take it or not
Freaking out
Screaming till we have no more voice left
Stepping into the same shop 4 times each time buying different things Staying in there for over an hour
Sat in premium seats watching CJ7 in cantonese
Trying hard to stay awake, reading the subtitles and watching the show

Nose running like crazy
Trish coughing like mad
Room must be filled with germs
Pity the next one who is going to stay in our room
Ate the most expensive Wan Ton Mee ever in my whole entire life
Tasted bad
Did last minute shopping
7 hour bus ride back
Coping with Edmund's hearing disability
Having Terence throw popcorn at Edmund while he's sleeping
Home sweet home

All in all it was fun peeps
Lets do it again soon man
